Overview
We believe God is good and loving, and desires every person to come to a knowledge of His will for their lives.
We believe in the dignity and uniqueness of every person; that they have been created with intrinsic value and eternal purpose.
We believe Jesus Christ is the exclusive path to God. And that by having a relationship with him, one can experience true and lasting freedom.
We believe in the ongoing gifts and supernatural enablement of the Holy Spirit.
We believe all scripture is fully God-breathed and infallible.
We believe these characteristics will follow the lives of believers: love, joy, peace, kindness, virtue, faith, gentleness, self-control. And that these qualities will be a witness to the reality of the presence of Jesus.
We believe these signs will follow the lives of believers: In Jesus’ name they will heal the sick, cast out demons, give sight to the bind, raise the dead, prophesy, teach, preach, give words of knowledge, speak in edifying tongues, convert the lost, love the hell out of people, and destroy the works of the Devil.
Let’s Break It Down…
THE TRINITY
God - is good, just, holy, merciful, compassionate, eternal, omnipotent.
Jesus Christ - is the Son and exact representation of the Father, fully God and fully man, sinless.
The Holy Spirit - is the person and personality of God and Jesus, made available to live inside of every believer for the empowering and equipping of the saints in order towel in godliness.
creation
We believe each member of the trinity (all being equally God) was present and responsible for the creation of all that is seen and unseen and that God created the natural order of the universe with immediate prescribed age. For example, when He spoke and created a tree, the tree was immediately sprouted from the ground to a point of age which only God determined during initial creation. Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Colossians 1:16-17, “For in Him was created the universe of things, both in the heavenly realm and on the earth, all that is seen and all that is unseen. He existed before anything was made, and now everything fins completion in Him.”
The inerency and infallibility of the bible
2 Timothy 3:16, “Every scripture has been inspired by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of Godliness.” No other piece of literature in the world ever has or ever will have the amount of historical, archeological, linguistic and manuscript support that the Bible has. It is the revelation and definitive representation of God’s heart, mind and will as well as the true depiction of humanity and the purpose of every human individual.
Salvation through jesus christ alone.
Jesus declares exclusivity of himself. John 14:6, “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father also. Salvation is not through philosophies or feelings or even by good works. Salvation is only through faith in Jesus Christ (his death, burial and resurrection and enthronement as King of the universe).
the lifestyle of the believer
The normal Christian life is to be one of constant intimacy with the Father, by means of encouragement and discipleship through the person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit being given to each believer for the deepening and strengthening of their faith in God is a promise that was made throughout scripture; example, Acts 2:4, “They were all filled and equipped with the Holy Spirit.”
As a result of daily intimacy with the Father, the normal Christian life is to be marked by the fulfillment of the great commission. Mark:16:15, “Go out into all the world and preach the news of the gospel to the entire human race.” When there’s intimacy with God its not a “have to” its a “get to”. When a Christians life is filled with the Spirit there is a natural overflow of the love of God and the preaching of the gospel that’s demonstrated on the earth in the midst of daily routines and activities.
The normal Christian life is to be one marked by the bearing of good fruit, the gifts of the Spirit and power. Mark 16:17-18, “And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues. They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay their hands on the sick and heal them.” The Christian life is also not only a matter of reading the word of God, but allowing the word of God to transform our lives so much so that we walk in power and authority. 1 Thessalonians 1:5, “For our gospel came to you not merely in the form of words but in mighty power infused with the Holy Spirit.”
We believe that God gives the right and ability, to every believer who is willing and available, to walk in power and authority as a means to destroy the works of the devil. When the Church as a whole understands this and walk it out, there will be no stopping of the end times harvest of souls being brought to Jesus.
worship
We believe that through spirit filled worship, believers have the opportunity to encounter the living God and enjoy his actual vibrant presence. John 4:23, “For God is a Spirit, and He longs to have sincere worshipers who worship Him in the realm of the Spirit and in truth.”
