Our Priority
Zion is a church in Boise that exists as an altar, where the lovesick and broken can come and lay down their lives at the feet of Jesus, beholding Him as they become transformed and filled with power in order to shake the community in which they live. We are a culture on fire with first love for the King. We obey His word, follow His voice and worship Him with all we are and have. At this gathering, religious limitations and man-made walls don't exist, rather the Holy Spirit is free to dwell in our midst and have His way. A place where saints don't hold back their praise, but give unrestrained adoration to Jesus. Our prayer is that the King has set His eyes on Zion and found a place where He's welcome and untethered. And when the King is in the room, everything changes.
Our Passion
King Jesus is our priority here. His presence. His royalty. His glory. On Sundays we don’t have a clock in the sanctuary. We’re not trying to get through a song list. We want to give Jesus time to be with His people as we come to His feet not to be busy, but to behold. Here, Jesus is welcome to save, heal and deliver. His presence and power is what defines this church. Not the move of man, but the move of God. We prioritize worship, communion and the preaching of the perfect Word of God. We allow the Spirit to minister at the altar here; through the gifts of the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit, and the 5-fold ministry of Ephesians four. Our passion is King Jesus. Him and Him alone. To know Him and make Him known.
Our Practice
When Zion saints gather together, we expect God’s presence. He promised this to us in the last days. Our goal is not to “have church,” but to encounter God. Therefore, we honor what the Lord honors. We believe the youth and children should be present in worship until they are released to their classes. We maintain a culture of freedom to express our worship to Jesus passionately. At this altar, we honor spontaneous worship, prophecy, edification, healing and deliverance. We are a church that believes in the effectiveness of fasting, prayer, and communion; and host regular meetings in order to be built up in these sacraments and disciplines. We participate in communion each Sunday and the preaching of the Word. Each Sunday is also an opportunity to sow tithes and offerings in order to advance the kingdom.
